Olgierd Syczewski is Disinfo Hub Director and CEO at EFI. Syczewski also leads strategic communication at Hyphen. He is an expert in monitoring and analyzing disinformation and influence operations. Prior to EFI he was a member of the communications team at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and a Program Coordinator at the Warsaw office of the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) where he was involved in disinfo initiatives. Syczewski coordinated CEPA StratCom project, which was an initiative monitoring disinformation in Poland, the Baltic States and Romania. He acted as an expert and moderator in discussions on information warfare. In partnership with U.S. Embassy Warsaw, he conducted educational workshops for the next generation of leaders in the field of cybersecurity and digital hygiene. He was a member of the international working group monitoring disinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic in 14 countries.
